Warhammer Fantasy: Age of Sigmar...

Change is good ...sometimes, My large warhammer fantasy collections lays dormant and has been for some time (pre-end times books). Why? I would have to say the squeeze to buy large expensive books a barrier and it was looking like the remaining army books weren't going to be updated, so what to do? sit idle until things settle and hope the new 9th edition rule book spurs on the game in a similar way as we knew it.

Well the wait certainly revealed something ... a game quite different from what I was expecting. I've looked at the AoS rules a couple of times and the war scrolls but have only felt a brief interest in trying it. One thing I will say on the positive is I think it's probably a great way to use models/units that might have just sat on the shelf otherwise.

To sell up and move on? I've invested too much time in painting my armies and purchased books to do that so I'm going to keep everything for now and see what the future brings.

My Flames of War army expands and with several games under my belt I'm enjoying this system.
